Going Green

Our workers are entitled to a clean and safe work space.  Our customers merit natural stone installed in a healthy and environmentally friendly manner.  We understand these priorities and conduct our business accordingly.  It is our commitment to you, our children, and our employees.

HOW DO WE DO THIS?

+ We start with recycling our water.  Our shop makes every effort to keep our waste water out of your ground water.  Most shops do not do this!  Conservation & containment is most important, thus, our water recycling system keeps our waste to a minimum.

+ We keep our shop dust free. Galaxy Granite & Stoneworks is one of a very small handful of stone companies that have made the commitment and investment in processes, tools and training in an effort to fabricate stone without making dust.  While we do produce a small amount of dust, when we install countertops, we make every effort to contain it, capturing as much as possible while we are in your home or business.

+ We use only low VOC adhesives and sealers.  While these types of products are a bit more expensive, we believe the health of our clients, our employees and the planet, as a whole, is well worth it.

+ We use the highly accurate Proliner digitizing template system, thus eliminating the need for "stick templates" which helps save trees!
